Curcumin is an extract of Turmeric which, for thousands of years, has been recognised for it's medicinal properties. Turmeric has been used to treat common inflammatory diseases, tumors, biliary diseases, anorexia, cough, topical wounds, diabetic injuries, liver disorders, rheumatism, and sinusitis. Curcumin...has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, antidiabetic, antibacterial, antiprotozoal, antiviral, antifibrotic, immunomodulatory, and antifungal properties*

The problem with Turmeric itself is that it does not remain in the body very long (bio-availability). Clinical trials have shown that Turmeric has a half-life of 6-7 hours**.

Science has enabled us to enhance the bio-availability of curcumin and there are a number of similar products on the market. I believe Vidafy products are the best and that is why I stock them. Here's why;

Synbiofy
